Waste to wow

This term Vardon school has been designing costumes by recycling. We got buddied with another class and it was room 5 .We got into groups. In our group there was Emily, Zaeleh, Rhiannon,me and our Juniors. Mrs Parkinson told us our theme was about nature. So we had to think about what we were going to do. Our group decided that we were going to make a river dress. Then we had to decide on what things we needed to use .The things we needed were green and blue sheets, curly ribbons,a net and velcro . Then we got a big piece of paper and we had to draw how our dress was going to look .When we finished we stared to make our dress.  First we made our long dress by wraping two pieces of the blue sheet around me and then  we velcroed it together  Then we put curly ribbons on the dress and  we stated to do the back.At the back we hot glue gunned a net onto it . Next  we made fish out of cardboard and cut them out  we put the cardboard fish in the net .  We finished the dress and started to make a hat. We first got paper and put it around my head to see if it fit . When it fit me we put colorful paper on the hat so it looked like scales. Then it was the trashion show we waited until it was our turn. When it was our turn I went up and started to walk on the ramp slowly. When I finished everybody started to clap. It was really fun.
